Police continue to investigate the drive-by killing of a man in North Preston 10 years ago.
Jerell Aaron Wright died in a hail of gunfire while he was standing a shared driveway at 16 Clarence St. on May 13, 2009, at about 10:45 p.m.
Investigators believe the victim was not alone in the driveway when he was shot and that he was not the intended target, RCMP said in a news release Monday. “Police believe there are persons who have information that could result in an arrest and possible charges,” the release said. “Any piece of information could prove useful to investigators.”
The province is offering a rewward of up to $150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction in Chase’s murder.
