UPPER BROOKSIDE, N.S. — A fatal single-vehicle crash took place on Highway 104 Sunday morning.
RCMP and Valley Kemptown Fire Department responded to the collision, in Upper Brookside, around 9 a.m. and found a truck had gone into a ditch and then struck a tree.
A 70-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man, both from East Hants, had been in the truck. They were taken to hospital and the man was pronounced deceased. The woman has been taken to the QEII Hospital in Halifax for further treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
