TRURO, N.S. — The Salvation Army is inviting people to drop in and join in the grand reopening of their newly renovated location.
“The renovations are done, and the new signs are up,” said Salvation Army Major Bruce Jennings. “We’d like people to come in and see how nice it looks.
“A lot of people still don’t know where we are, so this is a chance to remind them; we’re at 966 Prince Street.”
There will also be a barbecue, beginning at 11 a.m. and running into the afternoon, with a hot dog and pop or water for $2. Vegetarian hot dogs are also expected to also be offered.
The grand reopening is being held Saturday, June 22.
