TRURO, N.S. - After being postponed from Saturday (Feb. 16) because of heavy rain in the area, the dedicated bench to Veronica 'V' McMillan (Overmars) unveiling ceremony and skating party took place the following afternoon. Veronica, originally from St. Andrews, Antigonish County, passed away last summer following a cycling accident. Friends raised money for the bench which is located in Truro's Civic Square, right beside the popular outdoor skating rink, in the heart of the community.
