A Halifax convenience store was robbed early Saturday morning.
Halifax Regional Police responded to the Circle K convenience store at 15 Fairfax Dr. at about 1:40 a.m.
A staff member said a man had entered the business gesturing as if he had a weapon. He rushed behind the counter, stole cash and cigarettes and fled behind the store toward Fairfax Drive.
The staff member wasn’t hurt.
The suspect is described as white, in his 20s and about five-foot-10. He was wearing a ballcap, a grey hoodie, black jacket, grey sweatpants and black shoes.
