Girls raise money for Colchester SPCA

TRURO, N.S. — Josie Higgins, 8, left, and Kaelyn Keddy, 9, recently raised $100 for the Colchester SPCA. They purchased craft kits and made bracelets, which they sold. Both girls enjoy horseback riding and they’ve formed their own club they call ‘Sweet Pony Club.’ They’re now looking into making horse treats consisting of shredded carrots, oats and molasses.
