The Canadian Red Cross is helping a family of three after their Hebbs Cross home was destroyed in an early-morning fire.
According to a news release, no one was hurt in the blaze that levelled the home in the community about 10 kilometres south of Bridgewater.
“Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross have assisted with emergency purchase like clothing and food for a man and his two sons, ages 4 and 7, who will be staying with relatives for now,” the release said.
The fire was reported around 3 a.m. Sunday on Mines 2 Road.
