The body of one person was found in a house that burned in Willowdale, Pictou County, on Friday evening.
Highway 347 in Willowdale was closed for several hours as the East River St. Mary’s Volunteer Fire Department battled the blaze.
The main level of the house collapsed into the basement, and a vehicle parked outside was also burned.
RCMP and the fire marshal are investigating. Police say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
