A 39-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after another driver noticed he was veering all over Hammonds Plains Road late Monday.

Mounties fielded a call at 11:30 p.m. from the concerned driver.

“Members were able to locate the suspect vehicle in a driveway of a residence in Hammonds Plains,” said an RCMP news release.

The driver failed a breathalyzer test. “His blood alcohol was three times over the legal limit.”

The driver is slated to appear Sept. 24 in Halifax provincial court.
