Thirteen people are facing multiple drug-related charges after police searched a business in Dartmouth on Wednesday.
At 5:10 p.m., officers with the Halifax Regional Police-RCMP drug unit executed a Cannabis Act search warrant at the Compassion Club at 141A Main St., police said in a news release.
Cannabis and cannabis-related products, along with items such as scales and cash, were seized from the property.
Six men and seven women were arrested and held for court to face drug-related charges, including trafficking in controlled substances. They were to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Thursday.
This isn’t the first time police have raided the Compassion Club.
Officers seized $7,000, about two kilograms of pot and more than 2,500 cannabis products in April and more than 10 kilograms of cannabis in December.
