TRURO, N.S. — Dozens of veteran teachers who attended the former Nova Scotia Teachers College in Truro rekindled old ties at their annual reunion this weekend.
The NSTC, which closed in 1997, was located what is now the Colchester-East Hants Public Library on downtown Truro’s Civic Square. This year's reunion ran from Aug. 16-18.
The old grads enjoyed a reunion at the Best Western Glengarry Hotel in town from Aug. 16-18, as well as tours of the Little White Schoolhouse Museum with their loved ones, while a few others visited their old college building.
