NORTH RIVER, N.S. — A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being shot at a residence on Truro Road in North River early Thursday morning.
RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Clarke told the Truro News police responded to a call at 2:34 a.m. indicating a firearm had been discharged accidentally.
Another individual has been arrested for careless use of a firearm.
“There is no safety risk to the public at this time,” Clarke said. The incident remains under investigation.
