Dublin Shore, NS - A 74-year-old man was arrested without incident around 1 p.m. on Saturday after a standoff with the RCMP.
At 10 a.m. police were notified that the man had barricaded himself in a home on Highway. 331.
RCMP contained the scene and the emergency response team and a crisis negotiator were called. Before the additional resources arrived the man exited the residence and was arrested. He was taken to hospital for assessment.
