Anna Mae Ellis, 52, of 5 Kitchen St., Shubenacadie, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count each of making false entries into electronic accounting software and using forged documents (cheques) as if they were genuine.

Ellis was charged in May of defrauding G&G Computers Inc. of Truro. The incidents occurred between Sept. 26, 2008, and Nov. 22, 2013, when Ellis was providing accounting services to the business.

Her defence counsel has requested a pre-sentence report.

Ellis is to return to provincial court for sentencing at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 28. Two additional counts - fraud over $5,000 and forgery - will be dealt with at the time of sentencing.
