TRURO, N.S. — Winter parking bans will be in place in the town of Truro and many communities throughout Colchester County, beginning Sunday, Dec. 15.

No parking is allowed on Truro streets from 1 a.m. until 7 p.m.,  regardless of weather. Parking restrictions could occur if there is a storm outside of these times.

Bans in other areas of Colchester County run from 1 a.m. until 6 p.m. A list of communities can be found on the Nova Scotia government website.
Winter parking hours will be in effect until April 1, 2020.
