TRURO, N.S. – Power in some parts of Colchester County has been restored.

More than 14,000 Nova Scotia Power customers in Truro and surrounding area had been without power Thursday morning, including most of Bible Hill.

However, the latest update on the NSP outage map shows 13,573 customers are now without power.

More than 1,000 residents in Tatamagouche have been affected.

Areas in Colchester County are expected to see 25 cm of snow.

Restoration times in the province range from 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. for most areas of the province, with rural areas seeing a later restoration time.
