BIBLE HILL, N.S.

Emergency crews were called out to deal with a two-vehicle collision that occurred around 9 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Park and Main streets in Bible Hill. Although paramedics were on site, the initial assessment was that there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident. However, area roads are snow covered and, while passable, drivers are advised to proceed with caution.

An Environment Canada weather report indicates the morning snow will change to rain with fog patches developing near noon. The snowfall amount is predicted at between five and 10 cm., with rainfall amounts expected to reach 10 mm.

The rain is to end this evening, changing to cloudy skies and a 30 per cent chance of more rain changing to flurries overnight.
