Truro library evacuated due to oil tank issue

Truro’s library has now been open in its new home for two years. Staff were surprised to see how much library use increased since the move.

TRURO, N.S. — The Truro library was evacuated, and will be closed for the rest of the day (Nov. 14) , because of an issue with the oil tank.

It is believed the tank may have been overfilled, causing an odour issue throughout the building.

Wilsons Fuel was checking the tank and doing any cleanup necessary.
