Trudeau to host rally in Halifax, campaign across Nova Scotia today

Justin Trudeau is to make several stops across Nova Scotia today as the final week of the federal election campaign gets underway. 

The Liberal leader will be campaigning with Lenore Zann, Liberal candidate for Cumberland-Colchester, at Savoie Kitchen in Amherst at 12:30 p.m., before the pair travel to Masstown Market for a brief visit. 

From there, Trudeau will head back to New Glasgow to meet with Sean Fraser, Liberal candidate for Centra Nova, at the Coffee Bean at 3 p.m. 

Trudeau will finish off the day in the city with a rally at the Halifax Brewery Farmers' Market at 1496 Lower Water St. at 7 p.m. Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP. 

Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer will be making an annoucement in Quebec City this morning before he campaigns throughout the day with local Quebec candidates. 

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will be in Toronto for the day, while Green Leader Elizabeth May is to make an announcement in Kamloops, B.C., on tax policy this afternoon. 

People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier has no public events announced.
