TRURO, N.S. – A Salmon River man who breached his probation terms by being in an area he was not allowed to be was fined $500 in provincial court on Monday.

Lloyd Aubrey Spence, 43, of Montgomery Lane, was placed on probation last April. Part of his conditions include not attending any park, swimming area, school, daycare centre, playground or community centre where people under age 16 can reasonably expect to be present.

Spence pled guilty to the charge. His sentence was a joint recommendation by the Crown and defence attorneys.
