10:45. a.m. start time, Cobequid Veteran’s Memorial Park

Reception to follow at local school.

Brookfield

10:45 a.m. – Form up of Col. Ned Henderson’s 569 Air Cadet Squadron and accompanying band at the Veteran’s Memorial in front of the fire hall.

11 a.m. – Remembrance services, wreath laying, singing of O Canada and other songs.

Free-will dinner inside the Knox Church Hall immediately following the Remembrance services.

Debert

10:45 a.m. – Form up in front of the Debert Court seniors’ home on Dakota Road.

11:00 – Remembrance services at the cenotaph.

Meet and greet to follow immediately after in the Debert legion.

5 p.m. – Supper with legion dignitaries and other guests. Tickets $10 at the door (free to veteran’s and their spouses).

Millbrook

9:30 a.m. Mass Sacred Heart Church

10:30 – Veterans march from church to cenotaph.

10:35 – wreath pickup at seniors’ centre

10:50 – opening remarks

11:00 – O Canada

11:05 – Two-minute silence, reveille, presentations of family wreaths and lament

12:15 p.m. – Welcome and remarks by Dr. Don Julien, Millbrook Community Hall

12:30 – Dinner at the community hall.

Tatamagouche

Parade form up at 10:30 a.m.

March to cenotaph at 10:45 for laying of wreaths at 11 with services to follow immediately after at the Sharon United Church.

Social gathering to follow at the legion along with a banquet at 6 p.m.

Truro

10:30 a.m. – Parade form in front of the former fire hall on Young Street.

10:45 – March begins.

Remembrance service and laying of wreaths at 11 a.m.

1 p.m. - Roast beef dinner at Truro legion. Tickets $10 at the door.

Stewiacke

10:45 a.m. parade form up.

March to cenotaph for 11 a.m.

Shubenacadie

10:30 a.m. – Parade to form up for 11:00 service at the cenotaph (if weather is bad the service will be held inside Shubenacadie United Church).

6-9 p.m. – Banquet at the Shubenacadie legion hall on Village Road. Tickets $12 each.

NOTE: Services in some cases could change depending on weather conditions. There may also be other services within Colchester not included in this listing.
