Colchester RCMP are reaching out to the public for information as they investigate a drive-by shooting in Onslow on Saturday night.
In a news release Monday, RCMP said an unoccupied vehicle near a home on Elm Street was struck by shots fired from a passing car at about 10:30 p.m.
Police said the vehicle used in the shooting was described as an older-model, black Volkswagen Golf. The car had a damaged windshield and its rear window was covered in plastic secured with red tape.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to phone the RCMP detachment in Bible Hill at 902-893-6820 or submit an anonymous tip to Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
