Dozens of mostly elderly teachers who graduated from the Normal School, the Provincial/Nova Scotia Normal College and the Nova Scotia Teachers College gathered for the 48th reunion at Truro's Best Western Glengarry Hotel on Aug. 18.
Graduates from as far back as 1938 attended and many of the older teachers taught lessons at the Little White Schoolhouse, which is now a museum a short walk from the hotel. Participants enjoyed group photo shoots and a Saturday evening banquet.
Special attention is given to the 'decade' classes ending in '8', but graduates from other years were welcome too.
