TRURO, N.S. - Residents and businesses in the King Street, Prince Street and Young Street area may be experiencing power outages or interruptions Tuesday.
NS Power is holding an emergency power cutoff in Truro Tuesday afternoon as they work to repair damaged equipment in the King Street area.
The outage is set to run from 3-5 p.m., and will affect both residences and businesses in the King, Dominion, Pleasant, Prince, and Young Street areas, as well as smaller side roads in the area such as Faulkner Street, Muir Street and Arlington Place.
Some businesses affected have shut down for the remainder of the day, so check ahead with businesses in the area before heading out.
