North River woman placed on probation for theft

TRURO, N.S. – A North River woman who pled guilty to stealing power steering fluid from a gas bar was given a suspended sentence and placed on probation for 12 months.

Michelle Janice Burke, 30, of Valley View Court, was also ordered to perform 20 hours of community service and must pay restitution of $62.24.
