MacCormick has more than 10 years experience as a commissioner and has been on the recreation, environmental and transportation services committees. She’s an active board member of the Association of Nova Scotia Villages, and currently serves as the deputy chairperson of the association.
“I think that the Village of Bible Hill has an important role to play in the delivery of municipal services to our community” said MacCormick in a press release. “Bible Hill wants to continue to increase inter-municipal cooperation with Colchester and the Town of Truro.”
Commissioner Donna Van Kroonenburg was elected to the position of deputy chairperson. Committee representatives include Dale McLeod for Recreation Services, Kevin Kennedy for Protective Services, and Mitchell Bell for Environmental Services.
The commission meets every second and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Bible Hill residents are encouraged to attend the meetings.
