Local projects seeking community votes

TRURO – Four local projects are hoping for assistance through the Aviva Community Fund.

The voting round has begun and people can cast 18 votes at any time, until Oct. 28. The 30 ideas with the most votes in their category and funding level will go on to be finalists.

The Aviva Community Fund has provided more than $6.5 million to projects during the past seven years.

To vote for a local initiative go to https://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ and search for the project title.

Colchester Food Bank

The food bank needs funding to build a new facility in Truro.
