TATAMAGOUCHE, N.S. —

The Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre's emergency department will be open on Saturday, July 20.

It has been scheduled to be closed on that date but a doctor has been found to cover the  8 a.m. to 8 p.m. shift.

The emergency department is open each night, with coverage provided by the paramedic, registered nurse and an oversight physician team.

For emergencies, people should always call 911. General health concerns can also be directed to HealthLink where advice and information are available around the clock by dialing 811. The Mental Health Crisis Line operates 24/7 at 1-888-429-8167.

Anyone who is unclear about the availability of services may contact the hospital at 902-657-2382.
