DEBERT, N.S. — An opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous waste is being offered to residents of Colchester County.

Accepted items include household cleaners, paints, stains, aerosols, propane tanks, batteries, oil, gasoline, antifreeze, herbicides, pesticides, pool chemicals, and acids. They can be taken to Clean Harbors, 640 MacElmon Road, Debert on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
