Fracking discussions continue in local communities

A number of public meetings are taking place and locally, the next one is at Tatamagouche Centre on Monday, July 21 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Other meetings will be held in the area, including at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro on Tuesday, July 22 at 6 p.m., and at the Noel legion in Kennetcook on Wednesday, July 23 at noon.

The discussion will focus on the Nova Scotia hydraulic fracturing review, written by Dr. David Wheeler. He will make a presentation on the review process, preliminary results and draft recommendations.

The public will be encouraged to ask questions and make comments.
