Flyers, Leafs explode offensively in novice ball hockey tie

SALMON RIVER - The Flyers and Leafs busted out offensively and settled for a 7-7 tie in the novice division of the Truro and Area Ball Hockey League on Monday.

Rjay Toney pumped home five goals and assisted on another for the Flyers, while Brodie Ellis had a goal and two helpers. Ralph Tattrie had the other marker for the Flyers and Brooke Lauther added an assist.

Cole Thurbide netted four goals for the Leafs, while Keegan Maguire had a pair and Hudson Lynds added a single marker. Katelyn Rushton and Chloe Garcia had two assists apiece and Jordan Carr contributed a helper.
