MILLBROOK, N.S. — During a meeting Thursday evening, Jan. 16, five people were nominated for the position of chief of Millbrook First Nation.

Bob Gloade, who is completing his fourth term, will be on the ballot, along with  Michael Paul Stephens, Robert Scott Wilmot, Douglas Edward Johnson, and Shanelle Martin.

Sixty people were nominated for for the 12 council seats.

The election will be held at the community hall on Thursday, Feb. 27.
