If you want to take in tonight’s New Year’s Eve Kitchen Party at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC), you better not wait any longer to get your tickets.

RECC spokesperson Joel Taylor said as of late morning Monday, approximately 60 tickets were still available for the concert with JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter Johnny Reid, Port Cities and Matt Minglewood.

“We’re still selling tickets,” Taylor said. “I’m sure they will go quickly.”

Doors to the event will open at 8:30 p.m. Port Cities will begin at 9:15 p.m. with a pre-show to be followed by Matt Minglewood, who will officially kick off the Kitchen Party at 10 p.m.

Tickets for the show start at $59.75 plus taxes and fees. They are available at the RECC welcome desk or any TicketPro outlet, as well as online at therecc.ca or ticketpro.ca, or by phone at 1-888-311-9090.

  1. lucky ticket holder will also win a $2,000 travel voucher from Sell-Off Vacations, when a seat is selected at random. The seat number will be announced live at the event with a posting on the event website and social media page.

Parking is limited, so showgoers are encouraged to come early. Overflow parking will also be available at the neighboring shopping centre.
