According to a news release, the Colchester County Street Crime Enforcement Unit and the Colchester County RCMP executed a search warrant at 339 Station Rd. in Great Village on Thursday.
The investigation led to the seizure of about 60 marijuana plants and seizure of an illegally stored and loaded firearm. In addition, Colchester County Animal Control provided assistance and seized a large Rottweiler dog from the property.
A 28-year-old man from Colchester County was arrested and will be charged with production of marijuana, breach of probation and firearms offences.
The arrest was a result of information received from a Crime Stoppers tip.
