BIBLE HILL, N.S. — A cow who escaped captivity Thursday afternoon ran through streets and back yards of Bible Hill and Valley.
At 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 14, Colchester District RCMP responded to a complaint of a cow running loose. The animal had escaped from an enclosure in Salmon River.
For almost an hour, RCMP members kept traffic controlled in areas where the cow was running. After it went onto a frozen section of Salmon River, it was captured and returned to the enclosure.
Minor property damage was reported in the areas the animal had run through, and two schools delayed dismissal until the cow was out of the immediate area.
