Plenty of Pets

Blaze is a nine-year-old Corgi/Duck Toller mix who weighs 11 kg (24 pounds).

When her family's jobs changed, she and another dog were left for long hours in a garage, and she will now bark excessively at new sounds or sudden movements.

She can be shy, and when there's commotion, she will find a quiet place to settle. She does love people and likes to cuddle and give gentle kisses.

Blaze also likes dogs who are calm. Rowdy ones make her anxious.

Blaze will display her skills at spin dancing in exchange for a treat or a walk.

She guards her food bowl. Her foster family is working with her on this issue, but she will need more work on this in her new home. Because of the food guarding, she should be in a home where there are no small children.

Blaze will make a wonderful new family member in the right home. For more information visit Misfit Manor Dog Rescue at or or email

Tidal Times

The tidal bore will be coming in today at 10:23 a.m. and 10:59 p.m.
