Plenty of Pets
Diego is a six-year -old poodle/pomeranian mix who weighs about 14 pounds.
Earlier this year he was unable to walk and was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). He had surgery on his spine at Atlantic Veterinary College, and then had many trips to Full Circle Veterinary Alternatives for physio and rehab. He’s now able to walk, but IVDD is a lifelong condition and a preventative lifestyle is very important to maintaining his health and mobility. Diego also requires daily medication to assist with his gallbladder function.
He has been neutered and had two small benign lumps removed from his body.
Diego is a happy little dog who is full of love and enjoys giving kisses. He can be pretty excited about on leash walks but does well once he gets going. A fenced yard would be great so that he can enjoy playing outdoors. He gets along with other dogs and a home with another playful dog would be ideal.
To learn more about Diego, visit Misfit Manor Dog Rescue’s website or Facebook page or email [email protected]
