TRURO, N.S. — There’s a winter storm warning in effect.

It was -14C at 6:30 a.m., and today’s high is expected to be -4C, with sunshine, and an overnight low of -10C, with snow and blowing snow.

Tomorrow’s high will be around 1C, with ice pellets or snow. A total of 15-20 cm of snow and ice pellets is expected by late afternoon. The overnight low will be around -5C, with showers or flurries.

Chance is a four-year-old golden retriever who needs a foster home, or a forever home, with no small children.

He gets along with dogs and cats but does have some food guarding issues. He likes to go for driver but will try to jump in the front seat while travelling.
