Patches
Patches

Patches is an 11-year-old Shih Tzu, Patches who is available for adoption because his person had serious health issues.

During the past few months he’s had treatment for an ear infection, treatment of a corneal injury, surgery to remove a mode from his spleen and surgery to remove a hernia. He has a heart murmur but doesn’t require medication for it.

He neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and is housetrained (sometimes using pee pads during the night). He enjoys walks and car rides and snuggling with his foster family. Patches would love an adult only home with another mellow dog. If he’s an only dog, he would prefer a home where someone is at home most of the time. Patches doesn't always like to be picked up, and requests respect for his choice on the matter.
