TRURO, N.S. — HILDEN, N.S. – There are many ways to help wildlife, and people can learn about many of them during an upcoming event at the Truro library.
The Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is holding a volunteer information session at the library on Saturday, Jan. 25 from noon until 2 p.m.
The Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is seeking volunteers for a variety of positions.
Volunteers are needed to help with property maintenance, animal care, social media, community outreach, fundraising, and making crafts.
The centre rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, specializing in large birds of prey, and returns them to the wild.
