TRURO, N.S. - Sleigh bells rang throughout the Truro Mall as the big man himself made a special appearance.
Santa Claus, joined by Mrs. Claus and members of the Cobequid Dance Academy’s Nutcracker cast, paraded through the Truro Mall on Saturday morning.
Starting in front of Pearle Vision, Santa marched through the hall, waving and high-fiving excited children waiting for him.
Once at his booth, a Christmas decorated throne outside of Winners, Santa invited children to get their photo taken with him.
While kids waited for their chance to sit with Santa, Mini Musicians took the stage to perform a handful of classic Christmas songs and kids jingles.
Santa will return to the Truro Mall on Thursdays and Fridays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. for the rest of the Christmas season.
