TRURO, N.S. – A Brookfield man who pled guilty to failing the breathalyzer was fined $2,860 in provincial court on Wednesday.
Jason Rector, 40, of Carter Road, is banned from driving for one year.
He also pled guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka from Roop’s Esso, for which he was placed on a suspended sentence and probation for 30 days.
Rector was ordered to pay restitution of $27.99 for the vodka.
