TRURO, N.S. – Power is being restored in Colchester County.
The latest update on the Nova Scotia Power outage map shows 6,498 area customers are without electricity.
On Thursday morning, more than 245,000 NSP customers were without power, including more than 14,000 in Truro and surrounding area.
Bible Hill was hit hard, as most of the village was in the dark.
In total, more than 44,000 customers in Nova Scotia are still affected by power outages.
Heavy, wet snow and high winds caused outages.
