A Truro man who was found guilty at trial of invitation to sexual touching involving two individuals under age 16, was sentenced to 18 months in jail.
Kenneth Winston Clayton, 53, of Braemar Court must also serve three years of probation following his custodial sentence.
Clayton’s name will be added to the Sexual Offender Information Registry for life, he has been banned from possessing firearms for life, he was ordered to submit a DNA sample and he was issued a $200 victim surcharge fine.
Clayton was further ordered not to have any contact of any kind with the victims or their families and he must participate in the province’s intensive sexual rehabilitation therapy program, as directed by his probation officer.
