Indian Brook man facing charges, including assaulting a Truro police officer

TRURO, NS

A 27-year-old Indian Brook man is facing several charges following an incident at a Truro drinking establishment early Sunday morning.

Jordan Ashton MacKenzie is facing charges connected with breaching a court order, possession of a controlled drug (cocaine), and assaulting a police officer while trying to resist arrest.

He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court today (Jan. 22).
