Hit and run suspect sought by RCMP

A hit and run suspect is being sought by the RCMP following an incident that occurred in Glenholme.

A news release from the Colchester District RCMP said that prior to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 9), members had received a complaint of a hit and run that took place in the parking lot of a Glenholme business.

A black, older model extended cab Ford F-150 truck struck a parked, unoccupied Chevrolet Equinox, causing damage to the vehicle. The suspect vehicle left without notifying the owner of the damage.

The RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the driver of the vehicle, who also had a female passenger in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
