A Halifax Regional Police officer responding to an emergency call was involved in a collision at a busy intersection Saturday.
The crash happened at about 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of Quinpool Road and Robie Street in Halifax, according to a news release.
The officer had activated the emergency lights and siren at the time, police said.
The two vehicles ended up with significant damage, police said. The drivers were the lone occupants of the vehicles and were taken to hospital and treated and released with minor injuries.
Police said collision analysts are assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
