Dorchester escapee back in custody

DORCHESTER, NB

The convicted murderer who escaped from Dorchester Penitentiary on Wednesday is back in custody, report RCMP.

Steven Bugden, 45, was arrested on Thursday (February 8) evening between Dorchester and Sackville.

Bugden pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the 1997 death of Angela Tong, a Carleton University student who was stabbed 19 times.
