TRURO, N.S. — TRURO, N.S. – A Truro man is scheduled to appear in court Monday, charged in connection with a stabbing Friday night.
Truro Police were called to a disturbance late Friday on Lyman Street. Investigating officers learned there had been an altercation between two Truro men. One of them received several stab wounds and was transported to hospital for medical attention. Later he was transferred to Halifax for further medical treatment. Both males are known to each other.
A 33-year-old Truro man was being remanded until Monday, to face charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
