ZZ Top, the Little Ol’ Band from Texas, has announced concerts in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island this summer.
The blues-rock trio is to play at Harbour Station in Saint John on Aug. 13 and at Credit Union Place in Summerside on Aug. 14. Both shows start at 8 p.m.
ZZ Top lays claim to being the longest-running major rock band with original personnel intact, and in 2004 the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard have been together almost 50 years.
